This beautifully grained large chopping board has been carefully hand-carved to follow the original lines of the tree, with a chunky handle and hanging hole for style and ease of use. Each one is crafted from Scottish sycamore which grows on the beautiful garden site where the boards are made by people in the early stages of recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction. Every board shows the grain and the shape of the original sycamore tree and has undergone a triple sanding and grain-raising cycle to prolong its life. Boards come coated in food safe mineral oil and also look great as serving or cheese boards. Also available in a medium size.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your board will work best if you clean it gently with a damp cloth. It has been oiled for its protection and to stop it warping, but should never be left in water or put in the dishwasher. If it starts to dry out, a light sanding and another coat of sunflower oil will prolong its life. Best stored out of direct sunlight.
