Our rolling pin is made from ash wood that grows on the Gloucestershire estate where they are made (making them one of the most sustainable wooden rolling pins available in the UK). They have been designed in a classic shape that makes them comfortable for rolling pastry and dough, as well as looking fantastic alongside other utensils. They come uncoated but can be easily oiled with any natural oil to bring out the grain and provide long-term protection.
Made by residents at Camphill Oaklands, which supports adults with learning disabilities and mental health illness (see our Makers page for more details).
Please note that due to the organic materials and handmade nature of these items, some natural variation in grain, colour and shape may occur. Images show the variations in size and shape and depict the item as accurately as possible.
CARE INSTRUCTIONSWooden utensils will last longer if cleaned gently with a damp cloth. This rolling pin should never be left in water or put in the dishwasher. If it starts to dry out, a coat of oil will prolong its life. Best stored out of direct sunlight.
